Design and Construction Projects @VTCRC
Nestled in the heart of Virginia’s Technology Corridor and adjacent to the Virginia Tech (VT) campus, the Virginia Tech Corporate Research Center (VTCRC) is home to over 180 research, technology and support companies. Our 230-acre park is in a beautiful mountain setting, with easy access to the metropolitan areas of northern Virginia and the nation’s capital. An expansion on the northwest side of the park provides enough land to construct 15 buildings in addition to the 33 single- and multi-tenant buildings currently on-site. The VTCRC employs over 3,000 employees.

Tech Center Research Park
- Location: Newport News, Virginia
The idea for Tech Center began with the simple human insight that collaboration turns good ideas into great ones. And while the idea of research parks and co-working spaces is not a new one, the model for the Tech Center is. Using his visionary leadership, W.M. Jordan Co. CEO John Lawson turned the vacant plot of land on the corner of Oyster Point Road and Jefferson Avenue into the grounds for Tech Center’s future home. His dreams for the space and unparalleled expertise have been imperative throughout the planning process.
Drawing inspiration from the acclaimed Virginia Tech Corporate Research Center in Blacksburg, VA, the Newport News Tech Center will be home to over one million square feet of space across 11 planned buildings, punctuated by restaurants, shops, fitness clubs, biking trails and gathering spots. Some of the brightest minds choose to live in the upscale Venture Apartments, shortening the distance between work and play even more. http://innovateattechcenterva.com/
