'Round the Mountain
Sculpture, glassworks, pottery, jewelry, violins, and soap are created right before your eyes at the stops on the Montgomery County Artisan Trail. These visitor-friendly galleries and artisan studios not only exhibit and sell amazing work, but also offer classes for apprentices.
Along with the museums, galleries, gardens, and dramatic architecture of the Virginia Tech campus and the county’s sprawling, working farms, the artisan trail hums with the sights and sounds of a region carrying on its rich cultural heritage.
A trip-planner highlighting the various sites is available here.
