COVID-19 Resources During these difficult times, The Blacksburg Partnership remains focused on fostering and maintaining the health, safety, and overall well-being of the citizens and businesses within our community. To better protect our community, businesses, and visitors, we have followed the CDC’s guidelines and cancelled several of our upcoming events, including the annual Fork & Cork festival. While we understand the concern of gathering in-person, we encourage individuals to continue to support local businesses by purchasing gift cards to use later, ordering take-out/delivery, or consider making a donation during this economic challenge. We are closely monitoring the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) and will be sending out updates via our social media pages on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. Here are five actions the World Health Organization (WHO) recommends to help mitigate the spreading of this virus: 1) wash your hands often 2) cough into your elbow 3) refrain from touching your face 4) stay more than 6 feet apart (social distancing) 5) if you feel sick, stay home.
