Throughout the year, Blacksburg is host to a number of social and cultural events catering to a wide audience. In the spring, the International Street Fair showcases the cultural melting pot of our community and dishes up some of the best in international cuisine. Blacksburg’s annual Chocolate Festival brings chocolate lovers of all ages downtown to savor the sweetness of spring. The annual Fork and Cork food and wine festival is also a huge spring-time draw. Moving into warmer months, visitors and locals gather for the Summer Solstice Fest in June and the Steppin’ Out Street Festival in August. Just as the leaves are falling and football season is in full swing, craft beer lovers from all over descend on Blacksburg for the annual Brew Do festival. As the holidays approach, the Winter Lights Festival fills downtown with cheer to celebrate the annual tree lighting and classic hometown parade.
